About Linia Habi
Linia Habi is a Philippine-based brand focused on handcrafted and handwoven bags created by skilled Filipino artisans. We offer thoughtfully made everyday bags that celebrate traditional weaving techniques while embracing modern, functional design.
Our pieces are sourced from Negros Oriental, particularly from weaving communities in Calatrava and Guihulngan. Many of these artisans work within small, family-based communities that have continued the tradition of handweaving through generations.
Handwoven Bags from Pandan
Each bag is made using pandan leaves that go through a careful natural process. The leaves are sun-dried for several days and, for some designs, dyed before weaving. Depending on the style, the material is either cut into strips or twisted into thin ropes before being handwoven into its final form.
Because every piece is handmade, no two bags are exactly alike. Small variations in texture, color, and shape are part of what make each handwoven bag unique and personal.
Functional Everyday Bags
Linia Habi focuses on simple, functional designs made for everyday use. Our collections include handbags, sling bags, and halfmoon clutches, with more styles continuing to evolve over time.
Some designs can be reproduced consistently, while others, especially patchwork and experimental pieces, naturally turn out differently each time because of the handmade process.
Supporting Filipino Weaving Communities
At the heart of Linia Habi is the desire to support and sustain local weaving communities in the Philippines by bringing handcrafted products to a wider audience.
Every purchase helps support artisan livelihoods, preserve traditional weaving practices, and encourage the continued appreciation of Filipino craftsmanship for future generations.
Our First Collection
Our first collection, Unang Habi, marks the beginning of Linia Habi’s journey. From here, we hope to continue creating new handwoven designs while staying rooted in Filipino craftsmanship, natural materials, and meaningful handmade work.
Thank you for supporting Filipino artisans, local communities, and the beauty of handmade craftsmanship.
